Six matches will be played at Strathfieldsaye's Flight Centre Park in Tannery Lane.
Bendigo's young guns won the trophy when the challenge was played at Strathfieldsaye two years ago.
The Ballarat JFL struck back to regain the shield when it hosted last year's carnival.
Play at Strathfieldsaye kicks off at 10am when the under-12s do battle on oval two, aka Enterprise Oval.
Schedule for Saturday's carnival between Bendigo and Ballarat:
Under-12, oval 2 at 10am.
Under-14: oval 1 at 10.20am.
.Under-13: oval 2 at 11.40am.
Under-15: oval 1 at noon.
Under-18 girls: oval 2 at 1.20pm.
Under-16: oval 1 at 2pm.
Meanwhile, Catholic College Bendigo's year 7 boys' football team will contest the Loddon Mallee finals on August 6 in Swan Hill.
CCB scored a 77-point win against Bendigo South East in the Sandhurst Division grand final at Strathfieldsaye.
