Like the Thunder, the Devils are also winless this season, although, they fell one point short of top-four side St Albans last round.
While the Thunder continue to struggle, with their four defeats by an average of 203 points in their debut premier division year, there was a positive last round when Ingrid Hopkins kicked their first goal of the season.
“We played the Devils in a practice match during the pre-season and they were far too good for us that day,” Thunder coach Russell Jeffrey said on Thursday.
“So even though they haven’t won a game either, we’ll be treating them as very tough opposition like every week.
“But we’re really confident we can give a much better account of ourselves this time against them. Our team is starting to get stronger each week.”
