The two-day event, part of the Victorian Junior Road Aggregate Series, has attracted almost 150 entrants who will race short and long stages and a time trial on the roads around Dookie College.
Bendigo will be represented by eight riders at the event, hosted by the Shepparton Cycling Club.
Isaac Buckell and Nathan Burrell are rivals in the junior men under-17 A category, while Jagan Woods and Sam Buckell will do battle in the under-15 A.
Alexander Allott flies the flag for Bendigo in the under-13 A race and Stuart Bailey will take on the field of under-13 B riders.
Sarah McLennan is in the saddle for the local club in the junior women under-15 division, and youngster Belinda Bailey will be keen to impress in the under-11s.
The Scott Peoples Foundation promotes junior cycling in regional Victoria and is named in memory of a talented rider who died when he was hit by a car while training in 2006.
