The Roos is calling on past and present players to help reminisce and mark the club’s 125th anniversary.
The club will host a day of celebrations including a night of entertainment when the club takes on rivals Calivil United in round 13 of the Loddon Valley Football Netball League.
Netball president Glenda Thomas said the club was the heart of the Mitiamo community.
“It is great to see a club celebrate 125 years, it is a great achievement for a little town,” she said.
As part of the celebrations, Greg Champion from The Coodabeen Champions will provide guests with entertainment while former Mitiamo player Ken Sheldon will also take part in the club’s festivities.
On the night the club will also announce its greatest footballers between 1944 to 2013 and its best netball players from 1965 to 2013.
Special anniversary football jumpers will also be auctioned off.
Celebrations will be held on July 12 with a barbecue also being held at the club rooms on July 13.
Dinner and entertainment costs $20.
A bus from Bendigo to Mitiamo will run on July 12, for more information contact Rachel on 0409 792 979.
