PICTURES: Shane Crawford visits Bendigo

SHANE Crawford was busy signing footballs and posing for photos at Focus on Furniture in Kangaroo Flat on Saturday.

The AFL identity and Breast Cancer Network Australia ambassador was the star attraction at the store's renovation celebration.

The event included a sausage sizzle, face painting, and a live radio broadcast.

There was also a massive pink blow-up chair at the front of the store with people donating money to the BCNA for a chance to have their photo taken in the chair.

"I'm an ambassador with Focus on Furniture so I'm here for a couple of hours," Crawford said.

"I was here probably a couple of years ago doing something similar and then last time I was here was through the Tour de Crawf bike ride which had a lot of support."

"So it's good to be here to say G'day."

Debbie Clark, 48, travelled from Ballarat to Bendigo just to meet Crawford.

"He's my dream man," she said.

"I just think he's a wonderful human being."

Focus on Furniture marketing manager Samantha Clarke said the store had recently doubled in size.

"We renovated the store so we're having a celebration to mark that," she said. and the store basically doubled in size.

"So we have huge discounts on Saturday and plenty of things to see and do."
