Mildren has again been plagued by the back/hip injury that has hampered him in recent seasons, but after completing three weeks of training, will line up for the Storm against the Bulldogs at Gardiner Reserve in the second versus third battle.
"Sam definitely will play on Saturday," Storm coach Darryl Wilson said on Friday.
"He has spent the past three weeks training at top speed and has woken up well today.
"I don't think he'll ever be perfect, but he feels he's as good as he'll get to."
The addition of Mildren continues a steady influx of star power into the Storm line-up in recent weeks.
Vinnie Flood will make his return to the Storm side following a month out with a hip flexor, while Saturday's side will also include Casey Scorpions-listed utility Jake Best.
Steven Baker (unavailable) is among three outs, along with Ash Trollop (groin) and Jono Gawthrop (knee).
The Storm have won their past four games by an average of 108 points, while the Bulldogs are coming off a 73-point loss to Sandhurst.
