The entry list is at 142 in a race where scratch will concede 36 minutes to limit.
Racing will start at Creswick at 11am from the rotunda in Main Street.
Riders will race three laps of a 44.3km circuit in an anti-clockwise direction.
The field will race through Newlyn, Blampied, Smeaton and Allendale.
Several cyclists from Bendigo will line up.
The four-minute bunch includes Bendigo clubmates Aidan Bowe and Jason Lea.
Bowe was fifth in the 112km duel at this Victoria Country road championships at Harcourt.
Contenders at Creswick include Kyle Lierich from Bendigo in the nine-minute bunch and clubmate Rachel Ward will race off 24 minutes.
The limit bunch includes Castlemaine's Tony Byrne and Bendigo's Noel Sens.
Captain of Australia's track cycling team at the 2000 Sydney Paralympics, Sens is still going strong in road races around Bendigo and district.
The 18-strong scratch bunch in the Fred Icke Memorial includes Shepparton's Stephen Fairless, Ararat's young gun Lucas Hamilton, and Freddy Ovett, Wade Edwards, Michael Hale, Zane Hunter, Drew and Trent Morey, and James Rendall from the powerful Carnegie-Caulfield Cycling Club.
