The four-day titles are on the Queen's Birthday holiday weekend.
One of the leading contenders will be Bryan Jolly, a reigning Oceania champion. Jolly's feats on the mat earned the April award in the Bendigo Advertiser Sports Star of the Year for 2014-15.
Now in its 50th year, Sports Star is proudly supported by Prime 7 and Bendigo Bank.
Other Judo Bendigo players vying for glory across various age and weight classes at Wollongong will be Sancia Donegan, Morgan Parry, Phil Cursons, Steve Tooley, Tegan Bubb, Louis Mott, Amila Donegan, Anais Mott and Ben Donegan.
The judo aces have put in plenty of time training at Judo Bendigo's dojo in Adam Street.
Ben Donegan and Neville Sharpe are sensei, instructors, at Judo Bendigo.
