Sitting at the bottom of the ladder and still yet to score in their first three games, the Thunder will host the third-placed Diamond Creek.
“Hopefully, we can get some height into our forward line and give our girls some tall targets to kick to,” Thunder coach Russell Jeffrey said.
“I can’t question the effort of the girls. We’re getting our share of the ball through the midfield, but we’re lacking height across half-forward and that has been our biggest downfall.
“But we’ll keep working at trying to develop a forward structure that will allow us to put pressure on the opposition and get some scores on the board.
“Diamond Creek will be another tough challenge for us, but we’ll go out and give it our best.”
Diamond Creek last week defeated VU St Albans by 31 points.
Sunday's game at Kangaroo Flat's Dower Park starts at 2pm.
