FOUR clubs were victorious in this season's Women's Golf Bendigo District pennant.

Honours in division one were decided by a three-hole play-off after Neangar Park (1) and Bendigo (2) achieved the same tally of wins and games across five rounds.

Bendigo (2) won the play-off.

The match between Bendigo's Shirley McDonald and Neangar Park's Pat Macumber went to the fifth hole before a result was reached.

Other premiership winners were Castlemaine in division two, Bendigo in division three, and Quarry Hill in the sandgreen division.

Among the many highlights in the pennant season was a hole-in-one by Neangar Park's Janelle Brown on the seventh at her home course near Eaglehawk in round two.
