International show Cirque Mother Africa will dance onto a Bendigo stage next month.

The show is set to showcase regular circus elements with an African twist.

Theresa Muteta started performing eight years ago and has toured with Cirque Mother Africa since 2011.

"I am a singer and dancer in the show," she said.

"Mother Africa is a show that reflects African culture.

"There is a lot of music and a lot of dance.

"People will see Africa.

"If people have not been to Africa this will definitely make them interested."

The troop will perform at The Capital theatre, Bendigo on Wednesday, June 11.
