Of Hann’s past 10 starters, he’s trained four winners and had four second placings.

The five-year-old raced on the speed and fought to the line gamely to defeat Auramour in a photo-finish in the National Patient Transport Rising Stars 0-58 Handicap (1100m).

Tennessee Lad, by Potter out of Soroya, has now won three of its 10 starts.

The most promising horse in Hann’s stable is sprinter Swing With Me.

The three-year-old filly has won three of her six career starts, including her past two runs at Kilmore and Seymour.

A daughter of Kaphero, Swing With Me has led from start to finish in both of those wins over 1200m.

Hann will saddle up Dane Opera at Geelong on Tuesday.

The four-year-old mare has run second at three of its four starts for Hann.

The daughter of Tully Dane was previously trained by Danny Curran.

The on-pacer will run in the Sportingbet 0-58 Handicap (1000m) at Geelong.
