The donation will allow Bendigo Foodshare to utilise improved lighting at the warehouse and save about $500 a year through better energy efficiency.
Moore & Moore Electrical's Travis Moore donated his time to install the lights.
Coates Hire donated a knuckle lifter to allow Mr Moore to reach the lights.
Lawrence & Hansen donated the materials needed to connect the new lights.
The Y Service Club of Bendigo raises funds through its annual book fairs and Christmas tree sales.
Bendigo Foodshare distributes about 80,000 kilograms of donated food per month.
About 14,000 people receive support from Foodshare each month.
