Ivory took on the undefeated rising MMA star and Victorian Muay Thai champion Jordan Lucas at the BRACE Professional Mixed Martial Arts championships.
Held at the Institute of Sport Stadium in Canberra on Saturday night, Ivory lost in a narrow points decision.
The points were 29 to 28 in favour of Lucas.
Ivory trains at Bendigo's training facility FIT Republic.
