With the first three performances sold out as well as Sunday’s matinee, the Bendigo Theatre Company hasn’t had an Arts Shed production this popular since 2012’s Cinderella.
The company's secretary Gael Emond said the story was a winner with audiences.
“It’s a fabulous story, and a story that everyone can relate to,” Ms Emond said.
“The BTC was delighted to give Sue Walker (writer and director) this opportunity,” she said.
Reviewer Tracey Benson wrote “I love a good story and strong characters; Turning Tables has all of this".
“You have the evening of tears and laughter with a conclusion that makes you believe that there is justice in the world," she wrote.
Tonight's and Sunday's shows are sold out and there are limited seats left for Saturday's show at 8pm.
