SNOW has been reported at Mount Macedon, Woodend and Daylesford and more could be on the way.
Senior forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology, Gary Nissen, said there was a chance of another light snow shower in the afternoon, as well as hail and thunderstorms for other parts of the region.
The weekend doesn’t look like improving, with a chance of snow on Saturday and the mercury forecasted to hit freezing overnight.
“It certainly is cold and wet and miserable,” Mr Nissen said.
