Clubmates at Eaglehawk, Justin Bateson and Justin Laird led the Lions attack on four goals apiece in the 13.14 (92) to 7.3 (45) victory.
After an inaccurate first half, BSSC scored 9.3 and kept the visitors to just five goals in the second half.
The Lions run of five goals in the crucial third term included Bateson's bouncing goal and then another when he took a great mark near the goalline at the Simpsons Road end.
Laird's one-handed mark on the run was followed up by quickly playing on and kicking truly.
The Lions' teamwork was outstanding.
BSSC coach David Newett praised the workrate of defenders Josh Ryan, Daniel Davie, Mat Pickering, Ryley Barrack, Sam Simmons, Nathan Jennings and Ethan Bann.
"The back six worked really hard to win a lot of one-on-one contests and also took away the space for opponents to lead into," Newett said.
BSSC will play Catholic College Bendigo on June 3 at Queen Elizabeth Oval.
