ON Monday May 12th there was a small function for members and supporters of Intensive Care Auxiliary of Bendigo Health.

At the Rising Sun Hotel, friendly groups of people gathered together to raise money for critical and intensive care units for Bendigo Health.

The money raised will be going towards additional equipment and funding for more critical care nurses in Bendigo Health.

On May 19th there will be a morning tea function at the Rising Sun Hotel at 10am.

It will be a $5 entry fee and there will be many events such as a raffle, lucky seats, trading table and there is bottomless tea and coffee for everyone there.

There will also be a large exhibition of cross stitch, patchwork, embroidery and crochet to be held on June the 7th at the Bendigo North Bowling Club.

Iris, president, Beth, secretary, and Val, treasurer, from Bendigo Health Auxiliary are trying to turn this particular fund raiser into an annual event.

“We've had a lot of fun doing it,” Iris said.

“And it’s all made in Bendigo.”

The ladies really encourage anyone to come, meet some new people and just have a good time.
