The awards recognise the contribution of outstanding leaders in Australia and New Zealand’s food and agribusiness industries.
The annual awards, now in its ninth year, acknowledge senior leaders in Australia and New Zealand’s agribusiness and agri-related industries.
Villa Maria Estate founder and owner George Fistonich won the award last year.
“The world faces an enormous task ahead of us in feeding a growing population, and the food and agribusiness sectors have a crucial role to play in meeting this challenge.” Rabobank Australia chief executive Thos Gieskes said.
Judging criteria for the award includes significant achievement as a senior leader in building, rejuvenating or expanding a business in the food, agribusiness or beverage sectors.
It also includes development and communication of a clear vision and direction for sustainable growth and prosperity at both a corporate and industry level and outstanding corporate citizenship and demonstrated social commitment.
Nominations for both awards close on June 12 and can be made via www.rabobankleadershipaward.com
The award winners will be announced at the annual dinner in October.
