NEWS OVERNIGHT

"All quiet" for Bendigo Police overnight but Ballarat Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team are investigating two attempted abductions this week. 

It is believed two children were approached by a man in the grounds of a primary school on Vincent Street on Thursday. 

Vale Tom Hafey: Football world mourns great

RAY Byrne will remember Tommy Hafey as a genuine, honest, super bloke and a fantastic coach.

Hafey, one of the greatest coaches in AFL history, lost his battle with cancer on Monday. He was 82.

Missing woman found

A 70-YEAR-OLD woman thought to be missing in Macedon has been located.

The woman was mushroom picking at a Macedon forest with a group of people, when the group dispersed but agreed to meet up again at an allocated spot at noon.
