Four Bendigo women - Maree West, Margaret Smith, Deb Hammer and her daughter Nichole - were among the 15,000 participants who helped shape Breast Cancer Network Australia's iconic pink lady ahead of the Melbourne v Western Bulldogs AFL match.
Nichole texted updates to the Bendigo Advertiser on Saturday.
"We're having fun with the Field of Women," she said.
"There's lots of love on the MCG."
Ms West said it had been emotional, at times, listening to the various stories and seeing photos displayed on the big screen.
The event is designed to show support for the growing number of Australians personally affected by breast cancer. The majority of participants wore pink ponchos, with 125 people wearing blue ponchos to represent men impacted by breast cancer.
