An event took place at the All Seasons Hotel on Friday night, with the occasion coinciding with the annual post-graduate graduation ceremony.
Nurses who completed a post-graduate studies received official recognition and scholarships were awarded.
Bendigo Health chief nursing officer Peter Faulkner said the hospital proudly supported all nurses and midwives on their career pathway.
"Bendigo Health nurses work in a wide variety of situations, from acute areas such as emergency departments, to rehabilitation, community, aged care and psychiatric care," he said.
"Students from many universities come to Bendigo Health for their clinical placements and we run a graduate program which allows new nurses to settle into the industry at the completion of their studies.
"The organisation runs critical care, peri-operative, midwifery, acute care and other post graduate certificates in conjunction with La Trobe University."
