The chance to see inside one of Bendigo's most historic buildings is a part of the National Trust Heritage Festival with tours of the Bendigo courthouse, Sandhurst Trustees building and the Sandhurst Club all on the same day.
"It will be a great opportunity for the community to have a look at the Beehive," City of Greater Bendigo CBD place manager Philip DeAraugo said.
"We have been doing work on it for the last 14 years and while it is still a building site in some respects, it is definitely safe on the ground and first levels."
Mr DeAraugo said some spaces would be cordoned off and that people should wear appropriate footwear.
The City of Great Bendigo has spent $1 million restructuring the Beehive with a view of renovating and reinvigorating the building as one of the crown jewels of Bendigo.
"It's a bit of a time capsule at the moment but once the restoration is done, we think it will be one of the most visited buildings in Bendigo," Mr DeAraugo said.
The council has also asked for expressions of interest from people who want to invest in the Beehive building.
"There will be a notice in the Bendigo Advertiser soon asking for real estate agents to submit for an application to market the property," Mr DeAraugo said.
