The inaugural event has attracted some of the region’s best golfers, with businesses also throwing their support behind the fundraiser.
The money raised from the four-ball ambrose event will go towards the Sidney Myer Haven project, which aims to break the cycle of homelessness in Bendigo.
Symes BMW is the major sponsor. Atwork Consulting is also involved.
The Big Hit Charity Golf Day will be on Friday May 16 at Bendigo Golf Course from 11am.
As part of the fundraiser, there will an auction hosted by AFL great Peter 'Crackers' Keenan.
Symes is providing a weekend drive package for each member of the winning team as well as other prizes.
Registration for a team of four costs $200 and an individual costs $60. A non-player dinner package is $45.
