Market manager Hayley Davis said a chef usually conducted a cooking demonstration at the market but this weekend would be different.
"This month is a little bit special because we will have three cooking demonstrations," she said.
"The winners of the Golden Plate Awards were all in the healthy category, so people are welcome to come along and learn about healthy eating options."
Chef Marcus Hillier from Sim'R will make a lamb with pomegranate dish from 10am, while a staff member from the Corner Store Cafe will put together a roasted quinoa salad with goats cheese, chick peas, sweet potato, beetroot, baby spinach, carrot and zucchini from 11am.
Brougham Arms chef Greg Egan will serve up a pork fillet with Asian salad and micro herbs from noon.
This month's market is on May 10, from 9am until 1pm at Sidney Myer Place.
