Jumpsuits came in all shapes and sizes, while gum boots, in every colour of the rainbow, were easy to spot.
While some patrons decided to play it cool, others boldly stepped outside the box, sporting double denim, Mexican ponchos and surgeon outfits.
Pushing the boundaries of festival fashion was Corey Jackson, dressed as a Roman gladiator complete with a plastic sword, shield and helmet.
Melbourne friends Kelsey Spence and Maddie Wyckelsma wore flower wreaths on their heads and face art.
"I try to look as indie as I can," Maddie said.
"We love going to music festivals.
"They are good value - you get to see lots of bands."
Jade Gebbie and Bella Clark said they took into consideration the weather before deciding their outfits.
The girls said Saturday's event was their first time at Groovin' the Moo in Bendigo.
"It's a good vibe," Bella said.
