YO2GO is all about serving yourself delicious goodies.
As well as offering self-serve frozen yoghurt the store also offers self-serve hot dogs and pancakes.
Teena and Mark Slater opened the store two weeks ago.
"We started it because we love frozen yoghurt," Ms Slater said.
"We fell in love with the concept in Melbourne, and wanted to bring it to Bendigo.
"People today prefer to be able to do their own thing.
"People like to handle their own food.
"It helps to make the business easier to manage too.
"They come in and know what to do.
"They can just do it themselves.
"They can take our pancakes with them for a quick breakfast.
"Or the pots of muesli with some frozen yoghurt on top.
"We have got six different flavours of yoghurt with lots of different toppings."
Ms Slater said business was slow but they expect it to pick up soon.
"We are trying to be active on social media to get people more aware of our store," She said.
"The store is clean and bright.
"It's a new and fresh concept for here.
"I have had retail stores in Bendigo prior to this, so I know that it is not as simple as just setting up a shop.
"It takes time to get business up.
"In a place like this you are relying on people to come to you.
"We are looking at opening a window for night-time trade from the clubs.
"It will be open from midnight until 6am.
"This will help us really tap into a new market."
Full-time employee Brooke Hamilton really enjoys working at YO2GO.
"My favourite is caramel frozen yoghurt and the delicious pancakes," she said.
"I really like working here.
"It's quite peaceful at the moment.
"Mark and Teena are really lovely people to work for."
The store is located at 128 McCrae Street, Bendigo and is open from 8am.
