The newly appointed minister met Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services representatives, sharing his vision for multiculturalism in Victoria.
"Multiculturalism is not just about new arrivals and people who speak another language, it's about all of us and our personal stories regardless of our ethnicity or background," he said.
LCMS general manager Noemi Cummings said an ongoing government commitment to continue working with central Victoria’s growing multicultural population was crucial.
"We can see the outcomes of our efforts within the community. What we are doing is definitely having a positive impact but we need to keep up the good work," she said.
Liberal candidates for the region Greg Bickley, Jack Lyons and Donna Petrovich also attended the meeting.
