Victims of abuse asked to tell story

Child sexual abuse survivors are being encouraged to share their stories.

A Royal Commission looking at institutional responses to child sexual abuse is being held.

A new campaign aims to bring the stories of regional Australians to light.

Royal Commission chief executive Janette Dines said the commission could be found on Facebook and Twitter.

“While more than 1,400 people have already shared their story with a Royal Commissioner, there may be many more people who are yet to make contact,” she said.

Ms Dines said the inquiry was a chance for all Australians to share their story of abuse if they wished to do so.
