QUARRY Hill Primary school will receive $1.9 million in funding.
Dr Napthine said the funding would allow the school to improve its infrastructure, administration and teaching facilities.
"The Victorian Coalition Government recognises that great education relies on state-of-the-art facilities that support modern teaching methods," he said.
"This funding will help Quarry Hill Primary School meet its development priorities so that students can enjoy the best learning environment."
KYNETON PRIMARY SCHOOL
KYNETON Primary School has received $3.5 million from the State Government.
Premier Denis Napthine was in Kyneton on Thursday to announce the funding.
He said the funding would go towards improving the school facilities or to support a relocation to the Kyneton Secondary College site.
Mr Napthine said funding for the project would be included in the upcoming budget.
"This is an important announcement for the 280 students at Kyneton Primary School, their families and for the local community," he said.
"I am aware of the community’s strong view about the constraints of the current site and that is why we are providing $3.5 million to either improve current school facilities or assist the school community if they wish to pursue a relocation.
"The funding will allow the community to fully engage on its future educational needs and reach consensus on whether to upgrade the current site or relocate."
KYNETON SECONDARY COLLEGE
PREMIER Denis Napthine announced $5.3 million in funding for the Kyneton Secondary College.
Funding will be used to upgrade learning and administration areas, construct semi indoor areas, and upgrade, expand and improve outdoor education and sporting facilities.
Mr Napthine said the funding would make a real difference to the lives of the students at Kyneton Secondary College.
"The government’s commitment will provide staff, students and families with the very best educational environment to suit modern teaching methods," he said.
"Our vision is to build a system that is continually improving, where every student is able to make good progress in learning and where we establish clear and ambitious expectations."
WINTERS FLAT PRIMARY SCHOOL
WINTERS Flat Primary School recieved $1.1 million in funding from the State Government.
The funding will allow the school to upgrade its learning and sporting facilities.
Mr Napthine said Winters Flat Primary School offered a unique philosophy called SPACE, which supported each student’s social, physical, academic, creative and emotional development.
"This $1.1 million investment will ensure that Winters Flat Primary School continues to provide students with the best learning environment possible," he said.
