Staff, parents and seven Legatees from Bendigo Legacy joined the school group in Melbourne for the 83rd Legacy Anzac Commemorative Ceremony for students.
St Liborius Primary School principal Frank Dullard said the ceremony was enjoyed by all those who attended.
"The ceremony was pivotal to the children getting a sense of the sacrifices made (during war) and the many Australians who were impacted (on) by those who died and those family members," he said.
Mr Dullard said the trip was part of his students' leadership duties.
"It was a chance for our future leaders to step forward - to respect our past and help forge a positive future," he said.
