The honour roll features the life stories of 49 Aboriginal Australians and acknowledges the contributions they have made to Victoria.
It is an initiative of the state government, with Aboriginal Affairs Minister Tim Bull in Bendigo on Wednesday to launch the road show.
Mr Bull said the honour roll was about celebrating and acknowledging the efforts of each of its inductees and was permanently on display at Parliament House in Melbourne.
"The honour roll outlines and details the exceptional achievements of 49 individuals who have made very significant contributions to our state," he said.
The people who are included in our honour roll are role models for all Victorians and all of our community.

"It celebrates the remarkable achievements of Aboriginal Victorians in the fields of art, sport, education, health, community and military service."
Mr Bull said the road show consisted of a hard copy book and audio and visual footage.
"I encourage Bendigo region residents to visit their library and to read the powerful stories of those who have been inducted on to the honour roll," he said.
Mr Bull also announced nominations for the 2014 honour roll were open.
"While there are 49 stories, there are many more from around the state that haven't been told," he said.
"The people who are included in our honour roll are role models for all Victorians and all of our community.
"We need to celebrate their contributions and the sacrifices they made."
Fay Carter was inducted into the honour roll last year and is the only inductee from the Bendigo region.
Auntie Carter was pivotal in setting up several services for Aboriginal people and said it was an honour to be inducted on the roll.
"It was such an honour I felt when I was inducted," she said.
"It is about telling our stories and acknowledging the contributions made."
Kevin Coombs was also present at the launch and is an inductee in the honour roll.
Nominations close on May 23 and forms can be found at www.dpc.vic.gov.au/vihr
Ten individuals will be inducted onto the honour roll in 2014.
The road show is on display at the Bendigo Library until April 30.
