Held at Lake Wendouree in Ballarat, the annual event attracted more than 200 competitors from across Australia. A small contingent of international athletes also took to the water.
The Bendigo Club had 16 paddlers take part in the event.
It was one of the strongest contingents the club has sent to the championships, which began on Saturday and finished on Sunday.
Bendigo Canoe Club president Andrew Morrall said the club was pleased to see so many paddlers travel to Ballarat to compete.
“We had a total of 16 paddlers compete over the two days over distances ranging from six kilometres for our under-12s to 31.4 kilometres for open ages," he said.
“Racing commenced on Saturday with junior doubles and senior singles selection races and concluded on Sunday with junior singles and senior doubles selection races.
“We are very proud that our paddlers brought 10 medals home from the event," he said of the championships success.
Beginner Emily Strahan-Ferrie won a gold medal in the under-12s women K2 event with her partner from Warrnambool.
Lyndell Wilcox won silver in the women's 40 K1.
Imogen Douglass won a bronze medal in the under-14 women's K2 with her Melbourne partner.
Casey Haynes won silver in the under-23 men’s K1 and Rebecca Mann managed to bring home a bronze medal in the under-23 women’s K1.
Chelsea Beale bagged gold in the under-12 women’s K1 and sisters Cass Murphy and Kristy Packham won gold in the open women’s K2.
Leigh Murphy teamed up with Matt Beale to win silver in the men’s 40 K2.
Sean Jones won silver in the men’s under-14 K1.
Lucas Teasdale and Ben McLean won bronze in the under-18 men’s K2.
Maddy Jones was fourth in the under-16 K1 and newcomers Thomas Chisholm and Baydn Murphy paddled well in the under-12 men’s K1.
