Bendigo raised a record-breaking $101,843.55.
Appeal executive director Deborah Hallmark sent out a big thanks to everyone who donated money.
"This is an incredible result for the kids, from wonderfully dedicated communities across the state," she said.
"Each and every year the amount we are able to raise is truly overwhelming and 2014 is no different.
"Victorians and Australians are rightly very proud of The Royal Children's Hospital and the remarkable work it does and this is reflected in their continued generosity to the Appeal.”
"From our tin rattlers to our corporate supporters, from our regional fundraisers to our city collectors; many tens of thousands of people have again come together on Good Friday to deliver this wonderful result."
Thousands of CFA collectors around the state raised a record $1.63 million and the Good Friday Appeal Online Auction brought in $122,670.
Since 1931 the Good Friday Appeal has now contributed more than $274 million to the Royal Children's Hospital.
