In Saturday’s games the two clubs will face-off against each other, both hopeful of scoring their first win of the season.
The Bloods lost to Sandhurst in round one before its narrow lost against Golden Square.
South Bendigo mounted a spirited fight back against Golden Square in the last quarter but it wasn’t enough, losing by three goals.
Eaglehawk on the other-hand have been on the receiving end of some big losses in the first two rounds.
Before the season began Eaglehawk coach Robert Gartside admitted this season was about rebuilding the club after 15 new players were added to the A-grade and A-reserve squad.
South Bendigo will take on Eaglehawk at 3.20pm at the Queen Elizabeth Oval.
The second Saturday match is between Strathfieldsaye and Sandhurst.
That round three game will be played at Flight Centre Park at 2.30pm.
