The association is looking for females aged 15 years or older to carry banners, males 14 years or older to carry regalia and males 16 years or older to carry Sun Loong.
Participant registration/costume fitting is today at 4pm, Friday at 1pm and Saturday from 9am.
This will be done in the BCA rooms on the corner of Bridge Street and Cemetery Lane.
It takes 56 people to carry the dragon and carriers need some relief so the association is hoping for between 80 and 90 carriers.
There are also big banners to carry, not just the dragon.
The Chinese Association and the dragon have been a part of the parade since the late 1800s.
Volunteers will need to fill out a registration form as soon as possible.
