He said he would have preferred playing throughout the holiday period rather than have a break.
The Lady Braves have a 17 day break between its round four and five matches.
Goodman said the break between games was the longest his players would have throughout the SEABL season.
“It is what it is,” he said.
“It would have been good if the girls could stick together to gel a bit more because we have so many new players.
“In some respect it is a good thing because these players are backing up season after season all year round.”
There was less than two-weeks before the WNBL season began the SEABL season began.
Chantella Perera, Jane Chalmers, Heather Oliver, Rosie Fadljevic, Alex Bunton and Lauren King all played in the WNBL.
Goodman said after the break the team would be ready to fire for the rest of the season.
“I am happy about where we are at,” he said.
The Lady Braves have won games against Brisbane, Knox and Frankston.
Their only loss came in round four against rivals Ballarat.
The Lady Braves next game is away, against Nunawading on April 26 at 5.45pm.
