Athletes from near and far have raced the mile or mini mile through the heart of Bendigo each Easter.

Since it began the Dragon Mile has evolved to run events for primary schools, secondary schools, as well as the open divisions.

This Sunday's racing is on the new-look course which begins at the gold monument on Pall Mall, heads towards Alexandra Fountain, up View Street and back down again for the sprint back along Pall Mall.

First event on Easter Sunday is at 10.30am.
