It is in fact an attack on freedom of speech and opinion.
I believe it was the French philosopher and writer Voltaire who said: "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
That statement is the essence of freedom of speech.
The Bendigo Bank should rethink its “politically correct” decision and stick to what they do best, financial management, instead of assuming the position of thought police and political correctness enforcer.
This is very disappointing behaviour of an otherwise excellent business.
Is the bank now going to close the accounts of convicted criminals and anti “whatever” activists?
I will review my personal connection with this organisation.
