The seven-panel mural project was a joint initiative between the hospital and St Luke's Anglicare and was painted by a group of young Bendigo residents.
The mural was unveiled in the hospital's atrium during National Youth Week, which was celebrated earlier this month.
Lilli, 14, said it was great being involved in the project.
"The mural has hot air balloons on it," she said.
"It was a fun project.
"There was about eight of us working on it.
"It was good."
Bendigo hosted a variety of activities, including an animation workshop, as part of National Youth Week.
