And baby Mia Roycroft is already achieving milestones in her short life.
The hospital has welcomed its 1000th birth for the 2013-14 financial year - little miss Mia being the magical grand delivery.
Her parents Trevor and Chloe Roycroft were thrillled with the arrival of Mia - the third child for the family.
"She's a very good baby," Ms Roycroft said.
"Her brothers really love her and are constantly giving her big kisses."
Bendigo Health delivered 1175 babies in the previous financial year.
It estimates this number will be surpassed by June 30.
"We couldn't be happier with the care we both received at Bendigo Health," Ms Roycroft said.
"The staff were caring throughout our stay.
"They were very helpful and supportive to us."
Nursing and surgical services executive director Peter Faulkner said the maternity unit had delivered 1073 babies to Tuesday morning.
"The increased number of births at Bendigo Health demonstrates the demand of our services within the Loddon Mallee community," he said.
"I would also like to thank and congratulate our women's and children's services staff who do a fantastic job 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
The projected total of babies born this financial year is 1320 by June 30, 2014.
