TALENTED teens from many pockets in Victoria were at Bendigo's Queen Elizabeth Oval for Friday's third and final round in the AFL Victoria under-16 country championships.
Victorious in their opening two games, Murray Bushrangers and North Ballarat Rebels met in what would be the titles decider.
After some wayward kicking by both teams, the Bushrangers went on to win 9.12 (66) to 5.11 (41) and claim championship honours.
The day's play began with Dandenong Stingrays beating Bendigo Pioneers, 18.11 (119) to 6.5 (41).
Gippsland Power surged to a 78-60 win against Geelong Falcons.
