Officers have released an image of Christopher John Gribble, 41, who has distinctive tattoos on his neck, chest, stomach, arms and ankle.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest after he allegedly failed to appear at the Bendigo Magistrates Court.
The charges relate to a matter in North Bendigo.
Mr Gribble is described as being of medium build with a fair complexion, 173cm tall, with blue eyes and brown hair.
In other news, Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses in relation to an aggravated burglary in Flora Hill in February.
The incident occurred at 9.15pm at an apartment on Drechsler Street on Saturday February 15.
Two men, one armed with a firearm, entered an apartment and made demands on the sole occupant.
They left with the items a short time later.
