Cleveland had its slim play-off hopes ended when Atlanta defeated Boston 105-97.
In what was one of Dellavedova’s best all-round performances, the Maryborough guard scored a double-double.
Dellavedova shot 14 points and dished out a career-hight 12 assists.
It was the third time Dellavedova had scored a double-double in his career.
Dellavedova played 31 minutes off the bench, the most of any other Cleveland player.
He also grabbed four defensive rebounds in the 100-122 win.
Cleveland set a team record in the first half with 26 assists and finished the game with a season-high 41.
At half-time Cleveland led 69-37.
The Cavs have just three games remaining in the regular season, they face Milwaukee on Friday, Boston on Saturday and Brooklyn on Wednesday.
