RAIN forced an unusual ending to Bendigo's McDonald's Classic tennis tournament on Wednesday, with a coin toss used to decide the trophy winners.
With all Wednesday's scheduled finals from under-12s through to seniors abandoned because of rain, Bendigo Tennis Association chief execitve Leon Retallick used the novel way of a coin toss to determine who claimed the winners and runners-up trophies.
The winning trophy for the men's was won by Luke Harvey, while the women's was awarded to Kate Antosic.
The runner-up trophies went to Matt Hicks (men's) and Giorgie Jones (women's).
All prize money was split between the finalists.
