A Bendigo Police spokesman said two of the cars were parked at La Trobe University and were broken into between 3.30am and 4.15am.
The third was parked at Crook Street in Strathdale near the All Seasons Hotel and was broken into between 9pm and 11pm.
A stereo was stolen from one of the cars at La Trobe but the owners of the other two cars were yet to determine if anything was taken from them.
