Sport and Recreation minister Damian Drum made the announcement at the Queen Elizabeth Oval on Friday.
Kangaroo Flat, Castlemaine, Colbinabbin, Gisborne, Heathcote and Castlemaine Masters Football Netball Clubs and the Bendigo Umpires Association will be among the 311 state-wide sporting organisations to receive grants of up to $1000.
Mr Drum said it was important to ease the cost for parents.
"We understand sporting uniforms can be a final barrier for people," he said.
"It is expensive for registrations, it is expensive for mum and dad to run kids to and from training
"For a club to tell parents to not worry about paying for uniforms is important."
Mr Drum said speaking with football and netball clubs it was evident clubs play a big role in the community.
"Sporting clubs are the life-blood of the community," he said.
"Anything we can do to assist these clubs goes a long way to building a better Bendigo and better regional Victoria."
