The Hawks had desperately been trying to secure more players for the under-17 team, which was to have been coached by senior player Lachlan O'Toole.
All teams will receive four points when they are scheduled to play Huntly.
All other HDFL clubs have indicated they will have sufficient numbers to field under-17 teams.
Meanwhile, Colbinabbin will have to delay its planned centenary celebrations this year.
The Grasshoppers have just learned that instead of being formed in 1914, the Colbinabbin Football Club was established at a meeting held in Oswald's Hall in May, 1915.
