The update, put on by Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), will provide information on how new technologies can help improve productivity.
GRDC southern regional panel member Susan Findlay Tickner said the update would provide local growers with regionally-relevant information and advice to support them through this year's cropping season.
"Each year, grain growers are confronted with a range of cropping challenges and many of these can be unique to each individual region, so we tailor the topics for each Update to match the issues that are of most importance to local growers," she said.
"The update at Bridgewater will provide growers with advice and resources to help guide them through the coming season.
"They will hear from researchers and industry experts about new technologies and recommended farming practices that are emerging from GRDC’s targeted investments in research and development."
Presenters include Matthew Sparke of Sparke Agricultural and Associates, Peter Boutsalis from the University of Adelaide, Kurt Lindbeck from the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries, Alison Frischke of BCG, Raywood farmer Tim Demeo and Landmark's Kris Dixon.
Hay Australia's Geoff Walker, Craig Sharam of Elders, Statewide Irrigation and Rural Supplies Zac East and Andrew Bissett of the Wheelhouse Group will also speak.
The event is on in Bridgewater from 9am to 1pm.
