The Bendigo Advertiser toured the facility in Lansell Street, East Bendigo, on Tuesday.
Kris Taylor from the product development team said the Bendigo Woollen Mills had a proud history.
"It's a pretty big achievement in this day and age with all the manufacturing closing down in Victoria," she said.
"In 1984 the factory first opened in Kangaroo Flat and it started as a family business and just grew from there.
"It was predominantly mail order and then it just grew and grew until they had to find a bigger premises which they found here (East Bendigo)."
The Bendigo Woollen Mills employs about 30 people.
